NeoGenesis is a study in contrasts, where gleaming skyscrappers and noisy marketplaces stand side by side alongside dirty alleyways or abandoned industrial zones. Its a glittering city nestled in the heart of technological innovation and corporate politics, but its shining exterior hides an underworld filled with corruption, war and cybernetic modification.
The backstory comes from a near-future dystopia where megacorporations reign supreme, and cybernetic implants are seen as both valuable status symbols or dangerous requirements. As the rogue AI and malfunctioning cybernetics grow increasingly hostile, it falls to only four very unique individuals who may well hold both the key and salvation to prevent another cataclysm. Playing as one of the elite, skilled mercenaries known as Titans, the player has to neutralize or subdue multiple enemies in all parts of a city gone mad.
